Salavat Yulaev is a professional ice hockey team based in Ufa, Russia. The team was founded in 1961 and is named after Salavat Yulaev, a national hero of the Bashkortostan Republic. The team competes in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) and has won three championships (in 2008, 2011 and 2019).

Salavat Yulaev is known for having a strong fan base and playing in a modern, state-of-the-art arena called the Ufa Arena. Many talented players have played for the team over the years, including Alexander Radulov, Denis Khlystov, and Rustem Khamitov.
